Keeping the world a better place

Cage Safety

Make sure bar spacing is narrow enough so that the bird cannot fit his head through.

Dont have towels never the cage or in reach of the bird it as it is a choking hazard

Avoid happy huts and sleeping tents as a bird can easily choke its shelf

Avoid cages that easily come apart, they can lend to an escaped bird or even death if not clipped properly

Avoid sand paper perches as they can run their feet raw

Avoid chicken wire often used in home made cages. This wire contains zinc which is toxic.

Avoid placing the cage in low areas were other animals such as dogs can get at them.
